Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist
Crystal Nelson is an Occupational Therapist, Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and the owner of Fargo Ergonomics. She graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Mary and has certifications in functional capacity evaluations, functional job assessments, and pre-work screens/post-offer employment testing. Crystal is an expert in work-related injury prevention for every workplace, including industrial, manufacturing, healthcare and office environments. Her experience as an occupational therapist and and her expertise in the treatment of upper extremity injuries fuels her passion to help people prevent the onset of musculoskeletal disorders.
Certified Exercise Physiologist
Shaunna is originally from Bismarck, ND, where she attended the University of Mary and obtained both a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has gained excellent experience in orthopedics, manual therapy, neurological rehabilitation, sports medicine, and acute care. As a physical therapist and a certified exercise physiologist (EP-C), Shaunna treats a variety of patient populations, including, but not limited to, patients presenting with orthopedic injuries, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, and those in need of post-surgical rehabilitation. She utilizes a multifaceted and comprehensive approach to create an individualized plan of care for each patient in order to help them reach their unique and personalized goals.
Sarah is an Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy degree obtained from the University of North Dakota. She has extensive experience in hand therapy and outpatient occupational therapy from her time working for Mayo Clinic. Upon her return to Fargo, Sarah worked in outpatient occupational therapy and became well-versed in treating acute hand injuries, administered post-offer employment testing and ergonomic assessments. Sarah is knowledgeable in the treatment of a vast array of upper extremity disorders and teaches relaxation techniques which can help improve posture. Passionate about reducing work-related injuries, Sarah has provided education to many companies regarding onsite screens to prevent injuries, as well as established stretching programs to reduce the risk of injury.
Leah is a Registered Dietitian, having obtained her registration through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. Leah works with adults of all ages in a variety of settings and recognizes there is no “one-size- fits-all” approach. Her passion is to guide people toward making positive changes in their weight and overall health by eliminating quick fixes. She focuses on lifestyle changes for sustainable results through a non-diet approach. One of the most rewarding aspects of her career is seeing improvement to her clients’ overall health and emotional wellbeing as they improve their relationship with food and their bodies.
